FREE Comerica Java & Jazz Coffee House Series with Pathe Jassi on 7/15

Free concert series closes out its 14th season with local musicians...

Comerica Bank has partnered with the Detroit Public Library to present the FREE Comerica Java & Jazz: A Coffee House Series for the 14th consecutive year. The concert series brings world-renowned jazz musicians to Detroit for music fans to enjoy FREE of charge.

The FREE concerts  are held on the third Tuesday of every month from March through July at the Detroit Public Library, Friends Auditorium located at 5201 Woodward Ave. Detroit, MI 48202.

The series closes out on Tuesday, July 15th with Pathe Jassi.

Hear the Brazilian Creole vocals of Pathe Jassi of Senegal along with his amazing polyrhythmic Afro/Jazz bass and guitar playing. One of Detroit’s best-kept secrets, Jassi is sure to thrill the Comerica Java & Jazz crowd with his unique sound.
