Fall into fashion, freebies and discounts with Milford’s Ladies Night Out on 10/5

Biannual shopping event with complimentary snacks, beverages, killer discounts...

Calling all ladies! Is your next girls’ night out long overdue? Well, grab the girls and shop downtown Milford during its biannual Ladies Night Out event Thursday, Oct. 5 brought to Oakland County by the Milford Business Association. Shop fall’s latest fashion trends, gifts, accessories and more while enjoying complimentary snacks, beverages, giveaways and major discounts.

Attendees will receive an official Ladies Night Out postcard valid at more than 30 participating retailers. Once 10 stamps are collected, attendees can drop off the postcard at any participating location and be eligible to win one of 40 gift certificates valued at $20 or more.


Attendees will enjoy:
· Shopping at nearly 30 downtown boutiques and businesses featuring free drinks, snacks and discounts exclusive to Ladies Night Out attendees.
· A chance to participate in individual store giveaways and win gift certificates via the Ladies Night Out postcard.
· Menu and drink specials at Milford’s downtown restaurants.

DINING: After shopping up an appetite, event goers are encouraged to refuel at local Milford restaurants, including Coratti’s on Main, Burger Joint, Main Street Grill and Tavern, Gravity, Milford House, Palate, Smoke Street and the Village Bar and Kitchen among others.

PARKING: Convenient parking is located on Main Street and in three parking lots, located off of Main Street on the east and west sides of the street. Visitors may also use the Parkmobile mobile application to streamline payment for the existing parking meters along Main Street, as well as the new parking lot on the corner of Main Street and West Commerce Road.

Women gather for biannual shopping, dining event in Milford, April 27...

It’s that time of the year again, ladies! If you’re in need of a night out with the girls, join us in downtown Milford for Ladies Night Out Thursday, April 27. Shop, dine and socialize with your daughters, mothers, sisters and girlfriends as the women of Oakland County take over Milford’s downtown shopping district from 5-9 p.m.

“Ladies Night Out continues to attract women from across Metro Detroit to Milford’s downtown area for a fun-filled night with family and friends,” said Wendi Skolnik, event organizer and owner of Nana’s Niche and Corner. “It’s a community gathering that gives visitors a chance to explore our charming downtown shopping district and to experience the small town vibe of downtown Milford.”

Ladies Night Out is the perfect opportunity for locals and visitors to explore the downtown shopping district and experience what makes Milford an Oakland County destination.

From giveaways and discounts to complimentary snacks and beverages, event goers are guaranteed to enjoy a special girl’s night while previewing the latest trends in clothing, furniture, gifts, accessories and more.

Throughout the evening, visitors are invited to collect stamps on an official Ladies Night Out postcard at the more than 30 participating businesses. Attendees who collect 10 stamps and drop off their completed postcard at any participating location will be eligible to win one of 30 gift certificates worth at least $20 each.

The community tradition also encourages patrons to visit downtown Milford’s exquisite eateries, including Coratti’s on Main, Milford House Bar and Grill, Gravity Bar and Grill, Palate, Smoke Street Barbecue, Village Bar and Kitchen and more.

Milford Annual Sidewalk Sale offers up to 75% off select retailers 7/10 7/11

Annual outdoor shopping event returns July 10-11

Kick off your summer in style with Milford’s annual Sidewalk Sales, July 10-11. This two-day, open-air shopping event is sponsored by the Milford Business Association.

“Milford’s Sidewalk Sales have been a summer tradition for more than 50 years,” said Ann Barnette, executive director of the Milford Downtown Development Authority. “This event attracts new visitors to Milford and allows local businesses the chance to clean house before the fall merchandise arrives.”

More than 20 Milford merchants will take it to the streets offering incredible deals on apparel, art, jewelry, children’s toys and home furnishings. Visitors will enjoy the ease of outdoor shopping and up to 75 percent off select retailers along the downtown walkways from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“Milford’s Sidewalk Sales are an anticipated event by both business owners and residents,” said Wendi Skolnik, Owner of Nana’s Niche and Corner. “They allow us a chance to give back to the community by offering amazing deals and meet new customers.”

Many local vendors will also join the sale, selling wares of recycled vintage glassware, organic t-shirts, pottery, refurbished jewelry, repurposed plant containers and more.

Milford’s Sidewalk Sales are made possible by the Milford Business Association in partnership with the Milford Downtown Development Authority.

Gather the girls and head to downtown Milford for the highly anticipated, biannual Ladies Night Out on Thursday, April 24.

Shopaholics, fashionistas and foodies alike will relish in a night of great deals and meals from 5-9 p.m.

“The Village of Milford offers stores and restaurants to suit a variety of interests and tastes,” said Ann Barnette, executive director of the Milford Downtown Development Authority. “Ladies Night Out is the perfect opportunity for locals and visitors to explore the downtown shopping district and experience what makes our Village an Oakland County destination.”

From giveaways and discounts to complimentary snacks and beverages, event goers are guaranteed to enjoy a special girl’s night while previewing the latest trends and merchandise in clothing, furniture, gifts, accessories and more.

Throughout the evening, visitors are invited to collect stamps on the official Ladies Night Out postcard at any of the 35 participating businesses. Attendees who collect 10 stamps and drop off their completed postcard at any participating location will be eligible to win one of 40 gift certificates worth at least $20 each.

Milford's Summer Palooza features up to 75% off at downtown Milford Shops 7/12 - 7/14

Sidewalk sales, live music for all hits the streets of Milford, July 12-14...

Shoppers, music lovers and families alike will engage in the excitement as Milford’s downtown area comes to life during the second annual Milford’s Summer Palooza, presented by the Milford Business Association.

The three-day event will take over Main Street between Commerce and Liberty streets, July 12- 14.

“We’re pleased to bring Milford’s Summer Palooza back to the Village for a second year,” said Ann Barnette, executive director of the Milford Downtown Development Authority. “Everyone enjoys a festival, and this year’s celebration will offer up a variety of family-friendly activities to be enjoyed by the entire community.”

The merchants of downtown Milford will move merchandise inside out as shoppers enjoy sidewalk sales.

Visitors will find incredible deals on wares from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Participating retailers will offer up to 75 percent off on apparel, art, jewelry, children’s toys and home furnishings at downtown Milford’s shops.

While adults snag bargains at more than 40 participating stores, children will enjoy a variety of inflatable rides, a dunk tank, face painting, a family-friendly summer film and more.

Milford’s Summer Palooza is sponsored by General Motors, Flagstar Bank and the Milford Downtown Development Authority.

Downtown Milford’s "Ladies Night Out" features Giveaways, Contests & Discounts 10/4

Ladies Night Out takes over downtown Milford Thursday, October 4th

Hundreds of women expected for evening of shopping and dining

As the seasons change, the Village of Milford invites ladies from across metro Detroit to the fall edition of the annual Ladies Night Out event. It is set to run from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 4th in the downtown district.

Promising giveaways, exclusive discounts, storewide sales, freebies and complimentary snacks and beverages abound as over 35 Milford businesses participate at this annual event. Those in attendance are invited to collect stamps for the official Ladies Night Out passport at all participating shops.

By collecting 10 stamps and dropping the completed booklet off at any participating retailer, attendees will be entered for a chance to win one of 40 gift certificates worth at least $20 each and redeemable at a variety of Milford spots.

“The fall edition of Ladies Night Out is a perfect opportunity to enjoy some much needed time with the girls,” said Wendi Skolnik, Milford Business Association president, Ladies Night Out event organizer and owner of Nana’s Niche & Corner, one of the participating Milford businesses. “Gather up the ladies. Moms, daughters, sisters, aunts and of course girlfriends will enjoy a night of shopping and dining in beautiful downtown Milford.”

Patrons can expect specials at many of Milford’s restaurants as well as exclusive deals and previews of the latest merchandise at dozens of clothing boutiques, gift shops, jewelry stores and furniture outfitters, including The Clothing Cove at 414 N. Main Street; Bling Boutique at 361 N. Main Street and Rottermond Jewelers at 351 N. Main Street.

The evening is also a perfect opportunity to check out some of the newest businesses in downtown Milford, including Down Home Apparel at 400 N. Main Street; Max & Izzy’s Children’s Boutique and Bookstore at 115 W. Commerce; or restaurants like The Blue Grill at 426 N. Main Street and Palate at 449 N. Main Street.
