Gardner-White hosts Brighton Store opening with FREE Food, Giveaways 10/18

American Idol Season 1 Finalist Jena Irene will be doing a meet and greet starting at 11am

Gardner-White Furniture, a Michigan owned-and-operated furniture company, is expanding in Southeast Michigan with a brand new store in Brighton opening in October. Located at 8393 Grand River Road, the 30,000 square-foot retail store will provide more than 30 new jobs to the area.

Gardner-White Brighton is hosting a family-friendly grand opening celebration on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A highlight of the event will be a special appearance by Disney star, Peyton List, who plays Emma Ross on the Disney Channel comedy series Jessie. Fans will get a chance to meet her as well as take photos and get autographs.

Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, Disney Star Peyton List had to cancel her appearance. American Idol Finalist Jena Irene will be appearing at Gardner White's Brighton Grand Opening, Next Saturday 10/18 from 11 - 1pm.

Other highlights include a performance by the Brighton High School Marching Band and Pep Squad, free food/refreshments, activities for children, giveaways and more.
