HAUL OF THE DAY: $397 worth of Back-to-School fashion for only 84 cents at JCPenney

Back-to-School Shopping has never been this GOOD... or this CHEAP!!!

Last week, I checked my mail and found a wonderful coupon from JCPenney for $10 off a $10+ purchase - I love when JCP sends me this type of coupon where my purchase could end up being FREE.  I received the coupon because I am a JCP Rewards member.

Since you all know how much I love FREE, I made sure to stop into JCPenney today on my lunch hour so I could use the coupon for some quick back-to-school shopping for my son.  I only had 45 minutes to share so I hoped I would find a bargain or two - little did I know I was about to hit the mother load of all bargain shopping.

I headed straight for the clearance section in the men's clothing department.  That is when I stopped it - a sign stating everything on the rack was marked down to only $2.97.  I found the rack was full of clothing in my son's size - HOLLA!

I did not want to spend more than $10 (so my purchase would be FREE) so I picked out the following clothing items - and some of the items ended up being less than the already ridiculously low marked price -

1 LK by Haggar Navy Safari Jacket
regularly $180 for $2.97

1 Men's Claiborne Black zip front Jacket
regularly $85 for $2.97

1 IZOD Button-down Blue Chambary Shirt
regularly $50 for 97 cents

4 DC Statement T-shirts
each regularly $15 for 97 cents each

I ran to the JCP check-out register with the items and my coupon. Even the salesperson could not believe the final total. I ended up with 7 pieces of men's clothing regularly priced at $397.50 (including MI state tax) for only 84 cents (including Mi state tax).

I paid 12 cents per item. This is my kind of shopping!!!!

I would encourage everyone to stop by your nearest JCPenney location to search the clearance racks.

If you are not a JCP Rewards member, don't worry.  You can click here to get a coupon $10 off $25 purchase good until Saturday, August 16, 2014.

Enjoy!
