REVIEW: Ringling Bros. BUILT TO AMAZE circus charms Metro Detroit Families #RInglingInsider

Special thanks to Feld Entertainment for sponsoring tickets for my family as part of their Insider Program. The opinions I have expressed are my own....

BUILT TO AMAZE has classic circus fun for kids of all ages...

Last night, my son and I had the pleasure of attending the opening night performance of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey "Built to Amaze" show at the Palace of Auburn Hills.  BUILT TO AMAZE shines in it's simplicity and charm with classic circus fun that brought smiles to kids of all ages.

Everyone was loving the pre-show action
When we arrived, the pre-show was in full swing with kids and parents dancing with the circus performers and everyone having a great time.

My contest winner and her family
I ran into the winner of my contest for a FREE Family 4 pack of tickets to see the show. Sakinah H. from Southfield, MI and her family were having a great time before the show even began (FREE will do that for you). So I know this family must have been really enjoying themselves once the show was in full effect.

From the human cannon ball (my favorite - see my amazing video above) to the trick animal acts (I think the poodle act charmed everyone in the audience), BUILT TO AMAZE has a little something for everyone to enjoy.

The animal acts are always a favorite and this year Ringling Bros. spiced up the Asia Elephants act by having them dance to Phy's "Gangnum Style" which had everyone in the audience smiling and chapping to the music - as you can tell from my Instagram video above.

The Lion and Tiger Act never gets old...
The lion and tiger act is always a favorite and this year was just as exciting as it has been since I was a kid.

New to the show is a Basketball Unicycle act which was like seeing the Harlem Globetrotters on wheels.

I was initally disappointed that the Globe of Steel was not part of this year's show, but Ringling Bros. made up for their absence with the Wheel of Death which is just as exciting - see my video above.

And I always love the end of the a Ringling Bros show because of the confetti and fireworks. (see video above)
