Buffalo Wild Wings will relocate its Ferndale restaurant to a larger location at 500 S. Main St., in Royal Oak. The new location, on the first floor of the former Barnes & Noble on Main St., will open on March 2, 2015.
The first 100 guests through the door for the restaurant’s Grand Opening will receive free wings for a year.
“The move from Ferndale to Royal Oak will give us much needed room to expand. We are moving into a 9,100-square-foot space that is nearly 30 percent larger than our previous restaurant,” said T. Michael Ansley, president and CEO of Diversified Restaurant Holdings Inc. “We also love the location in Royal Oak, at arguably one of the busiest pedestrian intersections in the region. It offers the same cool downtown vibe as the nearby Ferndale location, but with more space. We foresee this new location quickly becoming a popular gathering spot for many.”
Buffalo Wild Wings, recipient of numerous best wings and best sports bar awards, provides mouth-watering wings, an extensive beer selection and ultimate sports viewing to local residents on big screens and wall-to-wall HDTVs, satiating hungry buffalo wing fanatics and sports fans alike.
The new location offers Buffalo Wild Wings’ STADIA format, designed to deliver a high-energy and open setting to enjoy watching sporting events and socializing.
While the restaurant’s boldly flavored menu features boneless wings, specialty burgers and sandwiches, finger foods, wraps, salads and Naked Tenders®, the main attraction unequivocally is the Buffalo NY-style chicken wings and 16 signature sauces and five seasonings.
Following its opening, the restaurant will offer two signature events weekly: Wing Tuesdays® and Boneless Thursdays®. Both feature traditional or boneless wings at a special price.
Customers also can choose from a vast variety of domestic, import, craft and specialty draft and bottle beers served from bartenders who are trained in the honored art of ale. Buffalo Wild Wing’s beer is always poured and garnished correctly for the maximum flavor and freshness.
The new Royal Oak Buffalo Wild Wings is now at 500 S. Main St. It will be open Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-1 a.m., Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.-2 a.m., and Sunday 12 p.m.-12a.m.
For the first week of business at the Royal Oak location, 10 percent of all sales will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland County.
