50 percent off clothing at all Salvation Army locations in metro Detroit...

The holiday shopping season has arrived! Pack up the family and work off your turkey coma with Black Friday savings at The Salvation Army.

All 37 metro Detroit Salvation Army thrift stores will offer 50 percent off clothing from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24. The Pontiac and Detroit dollar store locations open at 9 a.m.

Load up on cold weather essentials, holiday gifts and more, with hourly bonus sales announced throughout the day to offer guests an opportunity to save even more. Additionally, customers can sign up for exclusive discounts online via The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center’s Facebook (@semiarc) and Instagram (@semiarc) pages.

“Black Friday is one of the busiest shopping days of the year and this is our first year joining in on the discount fun,” said Rani Gabbara, director of retail operations. “Few retailers can beat the savings you’ll find at our thrift stores, plus all store sales benefit a great cause.”

Proceeds from all 37 metro Detroit thrift stores benefit The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center’s independently funded, 180-day residential rehabilitation program for men and women.

All Salvation Army thrift stores run on community donations. Metro Detroiters can help The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center continue its fight against drug addiction by dropping off gently used clothing, accessories, housewares, furniture and toys to the nearest Salvation Army thrift store donation center. For specific store hours or to locate a donation center, visit semichigan.satruck.org.

All Metro Detroit Salvation Army stores will be participating in this sale.
