Comerica Bank Free Prix Day activities will once again be featured at the Grand Prix on Friday, May 30. Thanks to Comerica Bank, fans will be able to enjoy the first day of on-track activities at this year’s Grand Prix free of charge, keeping alive a long-standing staple of Grand Prix events in the Motor City.
FREE Admission to On-Track Activities
Grand Prix goers will be able to visit the paddock and garage areas at the event in addition to enjoying free admission to watch the day’s on-track activities, which include IndyCar Series practice, TUDOR United SportsCar Championship practice and qualifying, Pirelli World Challenge Series practice and qualifying and SPEED Energy Stadium SUPER Truck Series qualifying and first race of the weekend.

FREE Meijer Fan Zone is Family Friendly
Meijer Fan Zone activities will include Monster Truck rides, BMX demonstrations, interactive games and displays as well as a Sports Zone that will include displays from Detroit's top sports teams and local sports stars appearing through the weekend.
FREE Shuttle Service to Belle Isle
NEW FOR 2014: FREE roundtrip shuttle service to Belle Isle from Cobo Center along Washington Ave and in front of the Ren Cen on Jefferson
For the public, there is no parking on Belle Isle. There will be a free shuttle service to and from the island for ticket holders and people will be able to park in any of the downtown parking lots or locations and catch the shuttles from two downtown locations (In front of Cobo Center along Washington Ave and in front of the Ren Cen on Jefferson). There will not be any additional fees for people coming into the island that weekend as a result of it now being a state park.
