"App Lock" keeps your apps secure on your Android Devices....

When my son was three years old, he started using my office computer. From the time he picked up the mouse, his computer skills were apparent. He enjoyed it so much that I of course allowed him play his games each evening. Then one day, when I was about to delete the trash on my PC, I happened to notice that the trash contained all my photos for the entire year. My son that dumped all my pictures in the trash while he was suppose to be playing a game on my PC.  Thank goodness I found them and was able to put them back where they belonged.

These days, most parents know better than to let they kids play on the PC that contains all the important family photos. But parents do allow they kids to play with some very important pieces of technology - their smartphones.

I have seen many a parent hand their smartphones to the kids to keep them occupied and out of trouble in a public place. But just like my son from back in the day, kids don't just play with the apps that their parents download for them. They also get into email and the photo gallery - and they always seem to find a way to delete important stuff.

If you have an Android smartphone or tablet, there is one app that you need to download today if your let your kids play with your device - App Lock for Android.

Choose the apps you want to lock down with App Lock
App Lock for Andorid allows you to password protect whichever apps you choose on your android devices. Now you can lock down your email and calendar to keep out prying eyes, your photo gallery and camera so that your pictures are now safe, or your eBook library so kids cannot read age inappropriate content.

When someone tries to open a App Lock protected app, they will see a lock screen like the one above where they must enter the correct password in order to gain access to the app. Since I review a lot of smartphones, I like to let other people try out the devices, but I don't want them getting into my personal information.  So I use App Lock to lock down my email to stop any accidental access.

App Lock is hands down one of the the useful FREE apps I have ever installed on my Android devices.  I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to keep some apps private.
