Living for the (FREE) weekend in Metro Detroit - April 9th - April 11th

Here is a highlight of the FREE activities you can do this weekend in the metro Detroit area and beyond:

Friday is the last day to take the United Way Community Call-to-Action survey. The first 1000 people who take the survey will get a FREE United Way Swag Bag. There were still 500 swag bags left on Wednesday, so hurry to take your survey today before it is all over.

On Saturday, take your kids to one of the Panera Bread locations in Dearborn Heights, Sterling Heights, Livonia, Farmington Hills, and Allen Park for the FREE Family Fun Day.

From 11 am to 2pm, children will participate in educational crafts and reading activities. While the children play, parents will have the opportunity to learn about the Early Learning Communities program and how to best prepare children for school. The event is open to all ages.

Lowes is having another Build and Grow Workshop this Saturday from 10am to 11am. Kids will make a Mini Baseball Game. RSVP is required.
.
Also on Saturday at 1pm, the U of D Mercy Women's Softball team will take on the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Admission is FREE.

While you are out on Saturday, stop by Staples to get your FREE copy paper with coupon - who doesn't need paper?

On Sunday, the much anticipated Dogup will happen from noon to 3pm at Canine to Five on Cass Ave. This FREE event is open to dog owners and non-dog owners. They would like everyone to RSVP.

Also on Sunday, the U of D Mercy Women's Softball team will again face off with the University of Wisconsin Green Bay at 11am.
And since you will be sitting outside at the U of D games, here is a coupon to get $1 off a 20 oz Seven Up to satisfy your thirst.

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend...
