REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: California Blooms - Beautiful Roses & Nothing more for Mothers Day ENDS 4/29 (CLOSED)

My California Blooms on Day 1.
California Blooms sells Roses & Nothing But Beautiful Roses!!!

I love beautiful things.  I especially love living in an environment where I am surrounded by beautiful things. And nothing adds beauty faster to a home than fresh flowers.

Have you heard of California Blooms? California Blooms may not be a household name like some other online flower retailers, but they claim to be home of the freshest, most beautiful roses in the world. And after receiving a bouquet of their roses, I would have to say that they live up to their claim.

California Blooms' roses are boutique-grown in an eco-friendly environment on the central coast of California. Each rose is hand-selected and cut at the peak of its' growing cycle, delivered farm-direct to your doorstep within 24 hours and anywhere within the USA. With proper care, these roses can last 7-10 days or more.

Roses in Every Color under the Sun!!!
When I was asked to review California Blooms, I was excited, but also a little concerned.  You see, I am not really a roses type of girl and California Blooms only sells roses.  But what made me so intrigued by them was the many colors of roses that I could chose from.  California Roses come in your traditional Red color, but they also have PinkLavender, Green, Orange, Peach, White, and Yellow color roses.

My California Blooms arrived in a eco-friendly presentation box
You see, it is not that I don't like roses.  It is that I don't like being traditional.  So when I found out I could get 18 Orange Roses, I was totally beside myself with excitement. My roses arrived at work looking wonderful in a very sturdy cardboard box wraped in paper - the whole presentation was very cute and eco friendly.

My California Blooms right out of the box
I followed the instructions and cut off the ends and put the flowers in water with the plant food that was included.  My flowers were beautiful and most of the blooms lasted for over 7 days.  As the roses opened and aged, the orange color turned even richer and beautiful.  I was very impressed.  The only criticism that I had was I wished that the roses had been dethroned before they were shipped since I am very afraid of thrones.

My California Blooms on Day 8
I loved my California Blooms Roses. And now that I know I can get roses in cool colors other than the traditional Red, I know I will be back for more.  To learn more about California Blooms visit their website http://www.californiablooms.com/ and their Facebook page www.facebook.com/CaliforniaBlooms.
