Living for the (FREE) Weekend in Metro Detroit- April 1st - 3rd

Here is a highlight of the FREE and low cost activities you can do this weekend in the metro Detroit area and beyond:


Friday is the last day to enter the New Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Skincare Line Giveaway where you can win $48 worth of cleansing and moisterizering products.  The giveaway ends Friday at Noon so hurry on over to enter.


On Friday night, the Detroit Pistons will retire Pistons Bad Boy Dennis Rodman's Jersey during half-time. Get $25 200-Level Seats + Limited Edition T-shirt for the game.  This will be a moment in Detroit Piston history to remember.


This Friday and every Friday until Easter, get 25% off your food bill at Coach Insignia or No.VI Chophouse restaurants.

Detroit Restaurant Week runs Friday April 1st through Sunday, April 10th.  Eat at some of Downtown Detroit's finest restaurants for one all inclusive price per person. Yummy and good on the wallet.


Starting Saturday, take the kids to the  FREE Butterfly House Exhibit at Oakland Mall in Troy, MI. Experience the wonder of Oakland Mall's interactive butterfly house, display and craft activities. This exhibit is located on the lower level near JCPenney.


Also on Saturday, you can take your kids to the FREE Home Depot Kids Workshop from 9am- Noon where they can build a Planter/Basket just in time for Easter.  Fill it with Easter Flowers for Mom or Easter Candy for the kids.


And Saturday is the last day of  Royal Oak Restaurant Week which showcases some of Royal Oak's best dining establishments including Andiamo, BlackFinn and more. Each participating restaurant will offer special discounted rate 3 course menus for either $15 or $25. No reservations are required, but are suggested.
