Living for the (FREE) Weekend in Metro Detroit- November 5th - 7th

Here is a highlight of the FREE activities you can do this weekend in the metro Detroit area and beyond:














On Friday, the movies "Megamind in 3D" and "Due Date" open in theaters.  Be sure to read my review of Megamind and guest blogger Liz Parker's review of "Due Date" before you spend your hard earned money.

On Friday and Saturday, Pro Skier Mirjam Jaeger will be in Birmingham for a FREE meet and greet with her fans at Don Thomas Sporthaus. Mirjam is in Detroit to attend her movie preview "The Way I See It" also in Birmingham.

On Friday evening you can get FREE admission to Cranbrook Institute of Science after 5pm.  There will also be a FREE Geology Movie screening at 7:30pm.  You must RSVP for the movie before the museum closes on Friday.

The Home Depot will have it's monthly FREE Kids Clinic this Saturday from 9-Noon where the kids will make a spice rack.


Saturday will be the FREE Funday at Detroit Science Center. Join The Salvation Army and FM 98 WJLB at the Science Center for this special day filled with performers, music and more

On Saturday, there will be a FREE Book Reading and Signing with Urban Fiction Author Wahida Clark at the Detroit Main Library at 2pm. Wahida is known at the Queen of Thug Love fiction and she will be introducing her latest book "The Golden Hustla" to the D.

All this weekend, Friday through Sunday, you can use the Macys Wow Pass to get 20% off purchases.

And Sunday will be the last day you can use this coupon for buy one, get one free sandwiches and salads at TGI Fridays.
