This annual celebration will highlight the rich history and culture of the African American community in the region.

Browse items in the Artists Market that will be located in the Streets of Old Detroit, learn from many of the historical organizations in the area, enjoy a caricature artist and the sounds of an opera singer.

Also featured:

> Renowned storyteller Ivory D. Williams
> African drum and dance demonstrations by Mubarak Hakim
>Michigan Sports Hall of Fame member Ray Scott will lead a discussion on playing sports in the 1950s and 1960s.
