October 6, 2012 (9 am-5 pm; doors open at 8:30 am)

Educator Overview Sessions: 9 am, 10 am and 11 am (20 minutes each)
The Henry Ford has developed unique and engaging experiences and opportunities for educators and students. At the overview sessions, we will share a few of the 2012-2013 school year highlights.

Hear about Henry Ford partnership with PBS LearningMedia™ for the 2012 Teacher Innovator Awards, a new creative writing contest for students called Building Stories which celebrates Henry Ford’s 150th anniversary, and The Henry Ford Teacher Fellows program.

Check-In Information
- Head to the IMAX Lobby (9 am-5 pm; doors open at 8:30 am)
- All participants must check in at the registration desk in the IMAX lobby.
- Teachers may register and bring one (1) guest of their choice.**
- Teachers must provide credentials (certification or school ID).

*IMAX and Ford Rouge Factory Tour tickets will be distributed after each session on a first-come, first-served basis.

**Please note that the Educator Open House event is exclusively for educators and their one guest of choice. The Henry Ford cannot give any tickets to additional family members and guests; they will need to purchase their own admission tickets. Credentials will be checked at the door. Teachers should bring their current school ID. Youth service providers should bring current work ID or membership cards and any other paperwork providing evidence of scout, after-school, or summer program leadership. For Boy Scouts, only troop scoutmasters and committee leaders are invited. Those without proper credentials will not be admitted.
