GIVEAWAY: 15 TONES - a Compilation of Love Songs for every Music Fan - ENDS 9/25 (CLOSED)

This is "Grown Folks" Music... and more

I'm starting to think I am the only person who has not read any of E.L. James' Fifty Shades trilogy.  These books seem to be the theme of every talk show and when I attended the BlogHer conference last month, there was even a Fifty Shades theme party for all the mom bloggers who wanted a walk on the wild side.

I put my name on the list at my local library for a copy of "Fifty Shades of Grey" and I finally got one - after being on the list for 5 weeks.  So while I'm finally finding out what all the fuss is about, I also have a new CD playing in my car for my ride home from work produced by Universal Music (UMe) that very well could be the soundtrack to the Fifty Shades books.  It's a collection of songs called 15 TONES.

"15 TONES" offers a variety of sensual tracks ranging all the way from classical (pieces by Chopin, DeBussy) to jazz and soul (Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, Marvin Gaye), and everything in between (Bell Biv Devoe's "Do Me," Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love.")

If you listen to this CD in the car like I did, I would say get through the first half of the album before you pick up the kids from school because overall these are the "Grown Folks" songs and you may need to let the window of the car down to get some air - especially when hearing Bell Biv Devoe sing 'Do Me!"

After James Brown gets through belting out how he's a "Sex Machine," its safe to let the kids in the car for the second half of "15 TONES" which has some classic love songs by wonderful singers including Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald.

The full list of 15 tracks include -

1. Let’s Get It On – Marvin Gaye
2. The Flower Duet from Lakme – performed by Katherine Jenkins featuring Kiri Te Kanawa and the Philharmonia Orchestra (L. Delibes)
3. Sex (I’m A...) – Berlin
4. Addicted To Love – Robert Palmer
5. Do Me! - Bell Biv Devoe

6. I'm Qualified To Satisfy You – Barry White
7. Get Up (I Feel Like Being A) Sex Machine, Pt. 1 – James Brown
