Living for the (FREE) Weekend in metro Detroit - June 24th - 26th

Here is a list of the FREE and low cost activities that you can do in Detroit and beyond this weekend....


Friday marks the end of my giveaway for the book: Men :10 Essential Skills, the Professional Guide.  The giveaway ends at NOON so make sure you enter now.


On Friday get your 1st drink for FREE at the Metro Times Drink x Design event at 24 Grill.  Take some friends and have a great FREE time.


On Friday, the new movie Bad Teacher and the new Disney Pixar movie Cars 2 open in theaters nationwide. But are they any good?  Don't spend your hard earned money until you read the movie reviews from Detroit movie critique Liz Parker.


This weekend is the Detroit River Days celebration on the Detroit River. There is an admission free of $3 except on FREE Admission River Days times of Friday from 11am-5pm and each day on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-Noon


On Saturday, take the kids to the FREE Lowes Build & Grow Clinic where the kids will make a cool waving flag to celebrate upcoming Independence Day


Sunday is the last day to get 20% off with this Macys WOW pass. There is nothing like geting your "shop on" at a discount.


And remember, all summer until Labor Day, active military personnel and their families get FREE admission to the DIA.
