FREE Detroit Midtown Shuttle Service Operating Now 7-7 Daily

The Detroit Midtown Connection, a free shuttle service!

The Midtown Connection is a free shuttle service developed by Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University and Henry Ford Health system to help students, staff, patients, and families travel more easily across Midtown locations. 

The shuttle runs north and south between the Lodge Freeway and Interstate 75, with multiple stops along a route stretching from Mack Avenue to Virginia Park Street. The shuttle service began on January 3, 2011.

Hours of operation will be: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.; no holidays or weekends.

Each system shuttle service location will move along the designated route, with three "Transfer Points" or locations where passengers can interconnect between shuttles.

The connection points are:

 261 Mack Ave.. between Eugene Applebaum & DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan
 540 East Canfield: north of Scott Hall
