Win tickets for Thomas & Friends™ Live! On Stage  at Flint’s Newly Renovated Perani Arena and Event Center

Thomas & Friends are making tracks to Flint, Mich. in a live touring stage show – Thomas & Friends Live! On Stage in “Thomas Saves the Day.” Produced by HIT Entertainment and AEGThemeStar, the 90-minute musical adventure opens at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 at the newly renovated Perani Arena & Event Center. A second performance will take place on March 22 at 7 p.m. These shows mark the first time Thomas & Friends Live! On Stage has appeared in Flint. A Thomas & Friends trivia contest, with a prize of a four pack of tickets to the show, will take place on the arena’s Twitter and Facebook channels beginning the week of February 28, 2011 and running through March 21, 2011.

Thomas & Friends Live! On Stage includes railroad-themed songs and tells the story of Thomas and his engine friends as they work together as “Really Useful Engines” to get the railroad ready for Sodor’s Magic Lantern Festival. Encountering adventures along the way, Thomas, Percy and Diesel, among others share a story that helps encourage life lessons such as discovery, friendship and cooperation.

Tickets begin at just $16 and include all taxes, but exclude service charges. Group sales are available by calling the Perani Arena Box Office at (810) 744-0580.

“Families in Flint and across mid-Michigan deserve the opportunity to experience world-class family programming like ‘Thomas Saves the Day’ at a high quality community venue,” said Jim Cain, president of Firland Management, which began operating Perani Arena and Event Center in January 2010. “When we began investing significant time and resources into making the fan experience at the Arena an enjoyable one for families around the region, this is the type of event we hoped to attract.”
