Here is a highlight of the FREE activities you can do this weekend in the metro Detroit area and beyond:

Friday is opening day for the movie "Jane Eyre". But is it any good?  Make sure to read the movie review by our guest movie critique Liz Parker before you get your tickets. And Liz knows her movies. She predicted 10 out of 11 Oscar awards correctly this year!

Take your kids this Saturday, March 26 to your local Borders for the FREE Lego Racer event. There will be Lego building fun, crafts, games and more. The fun starts at 2pm. This event is for kids ages 8 to 12.

On Saturday, go to the Detroit Main Library for a FREE Meet & Greet Book Signing with author Rebecca Skloot. Rebecca is the author of "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks". The event starts at 2pm.

On Sunday, go to the Walled Lake Meijer store from 1-3pm for the FREE Detroit Pistons Meijer Day.  Meet Detroit Pistons player Jonas Jerebko and get autographs from 2-3pm.

How about a FREE movie night at your home?  Use this coupon from Blockbuster Express to get one FREE movie rental.  Don't know what to rent?  How about a winner from this year's Oscars?  The coupon expires on Sunday.

Sunday is the last day to get an additional 30% off at Coach Outlets stores with this coupon.  Handbags are the spice of life.

And have you made your appointment yet for a FREE SPA or HAIR SERVICE at your local Douglas J Aveda Institute?  If you are a first time customer, your service is COMPLETELY FREE!  Locations are in Royal Oak, East Lansing, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids and Chicago. Click here for details and the coupon...

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend,
