Comerica Bank Helps Metro Detroiters Protect Against Identity Theft

Comerica BankIron Mountain and WDIV-TV Local 4 will partner for the fourth consecutive year to host free community Shred Day events in Livonia and Warren on May 19 from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the U.S. with over nine million victims each year, andshredding personal documents is one of the best ways to ensure sensitive information doesn’t make it into the hands of an identity thief, or “dumpster diver.” 

Commercial mobile shredders provided by Iron Mountain will be available at two Comerica locations during Shred Day:

·         Van Dyke & 13 Mile banking center, 30500 Van Dyke, Warren, Mich. 48093
·         Livonia Operations Center, 39200 6 Mile (6 Mile & Haggerty), Livonia, Mich. 48152
