Living for the (FREE) Weekend in metro Detroit - September 10th - September 12th

Here is a highlight of the FREE activities you can do this weekend in the metro Detroit area and beyond:

On Friday, teachers should head on over to Just Baked in Royal Oak, Novi, Ann Arbor or Livonia for Teachers Appreciation Day.  All day on September 10th, teachers can receive a free Just Baked cupcake of their choice by showing a school ID.  My favorite is the Fat Elvis - Yummy!

On Saturday,  Panera Bread is having a FREE Family Fun Day at their Woodhaven and Troy locations from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event is open to all ages.United Way will share information with parents about the free resources available through its Early Learning Communities – a program that helps ensure children start school prepared and ready to learn. Children will have the opportunity to participate in reading activities and craft projects.

Also on Saturday is the FREE Lowes Build & Grow Clinic for Kids starting at 10am.  This time the kids will be making a cute pet leash hanger.

Be sure to head over the the Detroit Main Library for FREE Concert to celebrate Literacy Day,  The concert starts Saturday at Noon and features Pathe Jassi, DJ Invisiable, Jessica Care Moore, Khary Kimani Turner, Fluent and Sheefy Mc Fly.

If you are going to the movies at an Emagine Theatre this weekend, click here for your $5 off $5+ Concession Coupon.   I LOVE FREE FOOD!
