Here is a highlight of the FREE activities you can do this weekend in the metro Detroit area and beyond:

Have you registered for the FREE International Freelancers Day Online Conference that will take place on Friday, September 24th? There will be 25 high profile speakers that will help teach how to make more money as a freelancer.  Check it out. Space is limited.

On Friday, lots of movies are coming out so be sure to read our movie reviews for You Again, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole  before you go.  And if you are seeing any of these movies at an Emagine Theater, be sure to print this coupon for a FREE small popcorn.

Can't make it out to the movies this weekend?  How about getting a FREE video courtesy of Blockbuster Express?  The code is good for a free movie rental through September 30th.

Did you know you can get a  FREE Panera Bagel for donating to "Feed Families In Knead" Food Drive? All 43 metro Detroit Panera Bread locations will collect breakfast items, including cereal, oatmeal and granola bars. The donations will benefit more than 30 emergency food providers located throughout the region. You can donate through Saturday, September 25th.

Head down to the Eastern Market on Saturday for the FREE "Taste of the Eastern Market" Cooking Series from 10am to noon.  Chef Michele Rastelli from Moo Moo's Vegetarian Cuisine the will be doing a cooking demo.
